Sand Canyon Show Pigs (SCSP) was established in 2022. It first started when in 2019 when we heard that who we usually get our show pigs from were not going to continue to raise show pigs. At the time there was really nowhere to get good pigs for an affordable price. Fortunately, we still had a gilt from the last fair. With some collaboration we had bred our gilt with a boar that we found on Shaffer's Gold Rush. This is were we started. We have expanded to over 10 sows and serving the panhandle of Nebraska. Today, we continue to raise the same high quality show pigs from Shaffer's Gold Rush. We have expanded to getting genetics from SD Genetics and Shipley's.
